Shop Preview: RWB

I am all about nautical styles, and the color scheme of red, white and blue is an easy way to get a sailor-y look without going overboard (ha-PUN!)...unless you want to! Here's a little collection of items coming to the shop next week that all vibed in the same colors. They're a variety of decades and styles, so there's something sure to please everyone!

Row 1:  1970s Nautical Maxi Dress (on reserve!), 1960s Buffalo Plaid Tent Dress, 1950s Shirt Dress
Row 2: 1970s Plaid Blouse, 1970s Waitress Dress w/ Reversible Belt, Vintage Red Roses Maxi Skirt

See something you like or want to know more? Our readers get first dibs on any items in our shop previews. :)

Have a wonderful weekend!

Shop Preview: Spring is in the Air

It's going to be 58 degrees in Virginia today! We may actually go outside!  Earlier this week, when it was in the low 40s, I started photographing some of our spring inventory.  Here are a few little peeks...I even created two outfits, just for something different to preview:

Tan Members Only-style jacket (women's XS/S), 90s Grunge Floral Mini Dress (Size M/L)

Feather Print Blouse (XS/S), Gunnies Prairie Skirt (S/M)

Handknit Sweater Dress and Cropped Cardigan (S/M)

1970s Leather Shoulder Bag w/ Brass Accents

1970s Tooled Leather Bag w/ Top Zipper

The pieces I have been finding are coming a lot from the 70s and the 90s, but I'm praying to the tift gods for some springy 50s and 60s pieces in my future (we're hitting a flea market this weekend, so we'll see what happens!)

As always, friends, if you see something you like and want to know more, drop us a message, convo comment, etc.

Amanda

Spring Dreaming (on such a winter's day)

I am staring out the window at crazy swirling snowflakes, covered pine trees, and bundled up folks who are still diligent enough to take their pets out for a walk in the cold...here in the northeast, it seems as though the snow will never stop, like we'll never see green grass again (or sunshine for that matter). So this morning I spent some time dreaming about the upcoming season, pretty things I want to wear once everything thaws...

Some trends I'm really loving for spring, as reflected in these Etsy picks:
  • full skirts
  • fun, ladylike florals (always on trend for spring!)
  • clogs/wooden heels
  • cutesy, girly cardigans
  • the ever-classic trenchcoat
  • denim anything (especially dresses)

Back to reality now...in my flannel pj pants with some inane soap opera playing on the TV, snow continuing to fall, my head hurting from staring at this screen so long...

Stay gorgeous (and warm and dry and safe, Northeasterners!),
