Last Wednesday, we finally got to have our second ultrasound. We planned a little family/neighbor BBQ over the weekend to spill the beans, sort of a gender-reveal party (but very low key). Let's just say, all of my hunches, dreams, old wives' tale predictors were WRONG!
Sisters really are the BEST.
Another girl! Aurora is over the moon...we are too, of course, but we felt the whole time like it was going to be a boy, so we were surprised! We have a name picked out, and we've shared it with some family, but I think I'll keep it there until September when she's born.
Having a sister so close in age has been one of the greatest blessings of my life--I can't wait to see our two (well, FOUR!) girls together. Q is the most amazing Dad, and I can't wait to see him with another tiny one! It's finally starting to sink in (well, except for my belly--that's poking out!) and feel real.
Hoping to do a full 20 week update later this week, but just wanted to share our news! We're still coming down from a special weekend of friends and family and food and love.
