How to Wear: Vintage Sweaters

It's the time of year where I see groups of hip girls roaming the thrift store, hunting for the perfect ugly Christmas sweater. It's usually not very hard. In fact, there are a lot of ugly vintage sweaters out there. But some of them are ugly-awesome, and you can style them into a hip, unique look. Here are two of my favorites, in the shop right now, styled with modern pieces (mostly under $50!):

2. American Eagle Vegan Leather Jacket (a steal! $49.98)/// 3. MIA Ankle Boots ($29.99)

1. Fleece-lined Tights ($7 right now!) ///
2. Charlotte Russe Faux Leather Skater Skirt ($22.99 right now!) /// 3. Nike sneakers ($75)

A vintage sweater is one of my go-to winter pieces--there are so many varieties, so you can find the one that best suits your style, whether it's bohemian rock and roller or sporty ingenue. There are many more in our shop (wink, wink--Christmas is coming).

P.S. Please remember how important it is to support small businesses, local shops, and indie presses/designers this holiday season. It means we can buy things for our own families (oh, and pay our bills).

  1. Wearing black cashmere sweater is really needed this cold season. I also wear again the leather trench coats as the upper coat on my dress. Thanks to that they have discount this Holiday Season. I bought my favorite style.

  2. Really appreciable daily outfit by this blogger. Amazing leather skater skirt, and shoes selection and style are so well. I love so much in vintage women cashmere sweaters . To see the outfit my enthusiasm increases more.

  3. There are some visual cues that can give you a sense for a boot's health. Here are a few
telltale signs that your boots are on their way out.
