Outfit Post: Blogger Restyle, 1970s

This month we're excited to be partnering with Lauren of blog and corresponding vintage shop A Wild Tonic.  We wanted to do more than the usual sponsor hoopla (typical introduction post and/or giveaway), and do something more interactive and fun! So we swapped two dresses, one from each shop, to style up in our own ways. Today is the first installment, with a little 70s number from Lauren's shop!

 Outfit details:  cardigan-J.Crew (thrifted), dress-c/o A Wild Tonic, belt-vintage, heels-Urban Outfitters,
necklace-vintage key on chain

This is just the kind of dress I love for fall--add a belt, a cardigan and some platform heels (tights if it's cool enough!) and you have an outfit that looks super put-together, but ultimately, take five minutes to throw on.  The same goes for my recent love of this hairdo: I know that milkmaid braids are soooo-2010 in the blog world, but my hair wasn't long enough back then.  Now that it is, I can spray a little dry shampoo and let a good hairwashing last almost a week, people. (Sounds gross, but I swear, I shower in between.)

Go check out how Lauren styled this dress over on her blog today!

xo,
Amanda
