Today, we peruse the shop for items that will delight The Romantic and the World Traveler.
The Romantic
Who is she? The romantic falls in love several times a day--sometimes with a boy, sometimes with a pair of shoes, sometimes with the winter light on the sidewalk. She's feminine and sweet, but that doesn't mean she's not tough. She's not a clueless ingenue either: she's a modern girl who sometimes wishes she'd lived in another time.
What to shop for: Pretty and delicate pieces. Florals and lace are a huge part of her wardrobe, but don't underestimate the power of a slinky little black dress. She loves looks that recall the 30s and 40s: dresses, nipped-in waists, and subtle details.
The World Traveler
Who is she? The world traveler is a girl who is down for anything. She loves adventure—last minute road trips, spur of the moment get-togethers, and of course, journeys to foreign lands. This girl doesn’t like to sit still for too long, so she is always sure to be prepared for last minute escapades (Drive all night to the nearest beach? Hop on the red eye to visit her friends abroad? Why not?).
What to shop for: Anything that can be layered—think lightweight jackets, cardigans, hats, scarves. Look for items with an ethnic-feel (fun prints, interesting colors)—pieces that might have a special story behind them. Also consider items that are comfortable and sturdy (leather bags, boots) for this girl on the go.
