{How to Wear} Late Spring Trends: Pastels

Pastels are definitely a recurring trend each spring--which may mean they aren't actually a "trend" and more like a "go-to"....like wearing boots in the winter, pastels are kind of a fashion necessity for spring.  A splash of peach, mint green, or pale yellow paired with your everyday jeans is a super simple way to update your wardrobe for warmer months, but to make it more fun, I wanted to try a full-on pastel look.
This menswear inspired linen button up shirt is the perfect amount of structure to pair with a feminine, flowy midi length skirt.  I toughened up the look a bit with leather sandals and a boxy, quilted bag with a heavy chain strap.  Final touches include a super skinny braided belt and brass jewelry (dangly earrings, cocktail ring, bangles).

light pink button up- Ralph Lauren (thrifted), white cami- Target, braided nude belt- H&M, midi swing skirt-vintage (buy it HERE), sandals- Candies (from forever ago), quilted bag- Kohl's

This skirt is from the shop (click link above to view full details)!  It is fully lined (yay for no slip required!) but still lightweight enough for summer.  I would love to keep it for myself, but am being super generous and keeping it up for sale so you can make it yours!

Outfit Post: Bright and Neutral

I feel like this outfit post is most typically "me" on an average day. I wore this to go to the Farmer's Market and run some errands w/ Q and Aurora on Saturday.  Flat shoes are a must (I am living in these lace up gladiators!) when roaming about town.

I thrifted this bright Gap tee this week (on top of a fantastic haul of other stuff, including a whole biking wardrobe), quite excitedly.  I have been drawn to bright orange, peach, and red lately.  I paired it with neutrals and a simple necklace and some bangles.

So if you see me on the street, I'm probably wearing something like this and pushing a stroller.  It's not glamorous, but it's fun and it's me!

Summer Sneak Peek!

We haven't been posting much...because we've been busy shopping!  Here's just a little weekend sneak peek of what's coming to the shop next week.

See something you like?  Just send us a message and it can be yours, in advance. A special treat for all of our devoted readers, who we are beyond thankful for.  <3

60s White Eyelet Mini Dress with Pink Satin Ribbon Trim (XS)

70s/80s Metallic Gold Canvas Sneaker (Sz. 6.5)

60s Black Stretch Turban (Amazing!)
Italian Leather Flat Buckle Sandals (sz 9 1/2 or 10)

Woven Tribal Mini Bucket Crossbody Bag with Leather Trim/Strap
If you follow us on Twitter, you may have seen me tweet yesterday about a pair of PERFECT 70s high waisted bell bottoms (with zipper pockets on the back and orange stitching!). They are a vintage size 16, but fit more like a women's 8/10 and are Montgomery Ward brand.  Sabine (my mannequin, in case you forgot!) doesn't look as great in pants as a real woman, so I'm hoping to find a model for these hot pants...I have a few ideas.

Enjoy the weekend!

Amanda
