Outfit Post: Kiddo Inspired

Hello there!  I haven't been feeling so stylish as of late.  In fact, I go back and forth between wanting to quit posting outfits altogether and wanting to keep it at just so I have some kind of accountability to not fall into the mommy rabbit hole of wearing yoga pants everyday.  Today I chose the latter and here are the pictures to prove it!  

I had a little friend that wanted to pose with me.  No it was not raining.  Yes, she is in full out rain gear (including rain boots worn on the wrong feet).  I love that Lyla is taking an interest in choosing her outfits.  In fact, I was sort of inspired by her skirt over pants look and decided to try something similar!  

I found these boots on a thrift shopping excursion (they were brand new--Lucky Brand).  I'm not sure if they're meant to actually have laces, but I like them without!  

I think I am ready to move on to my summer wardrobe.  The dress I'm wearing under my sweater is actually a little sundress I bought last weekend.  I can't wait till it's warm enough to wear on its own!
