Makers We Love: Little Knitty Things

Jayme is a visual artist. Amanda is a writer. We love curating vintage, taking photos and making our blogs/lives into creative places. We bond with people who want the same thing--to make a living doing what they love.

Our beautiful friend, Mel Sonier (at left, in one of her own creations!), has an amazing Etsy shop called Little Knitty Things, and she generously sent my girls a few adorable pieces. (I am mostly using this blog post as an opportunity to show how darn cute my girls are, but...) Mel makes hats for kids of all ages, as well as amazing pompom garlands and wall hangings (+ more!). If you're in New York, you might want to check her out at some local markets as well!

Milena, wearing a pompom headband.

Aurora in a bright knit cap, hamming it up as usual.

How amazing are these colors? Mel also sent us a beautiful garland that's hanging in the girls' room (which gets bad light and is always a mess, hence the lack of photos).

Thanks, Mel, for the beautiful things...everyone go check out her shop and get yourself and/or your kiddos some handmade goodness!

xo,
Amanda
