Sisters really are the BEST.
Another girl! Aurora is over the moon...we are too, of course, but we felt the whole time like it was going to be a boy, so we were surprised! We have a name picked out, and we've shared it with some family, but I think I'll keep it there until September when she's born.
Having a sister so close in age has been one of the greatest blessings of my life--I can't wait to see our two (well, FOUR!) girls together. Q is the most amazing Dad, and I can't wait to see him with another tiny one! It's finally starting to sink in (well, except for my belly--that's poking out!) and feel real.
Hoping to do a full 20 week update later this week, but just wanted to share our news! We're still coming down from a special weekend of friends and family and food and love.
xo,
Amanda

Congratulations!!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Jackie! We're so happy!
DeleteI had a feeling it was a girl! I saw a picture of you and Q on Facebook a few weeks ago and the thought just came to me, "Soon they'll have 4 girls!" Then I realized that the sex of the baby was not yet known. I'd like to call it magical thinking, but then again, I did have a 50% of being right. <3
ReplyDeleteWell, aren't you perceptive? Maybe I was giving off some sort of girly glow? ;) <3
Deleteawww. I used to beg for a sister but never got one. It was lonely being without one, so I am glad your daughter will have one and that you will understand what it is like to have a sister so you can all have a good way of getting along, hopefully hehehehe. Congratulations to you!

Hi Victoria! I am so glad too...I didn't realize how glad until the ultrasound tech finally announced it! My husband would still have loved a boy, but I think a girl is the best...xo
