Ultimately, it as silly, and not very well-done (except for the music!), but what really stuck out for me were the clothes! The year was 1979, so you can see some classic 70s style, but also the rise of the 80s--and LOTS of punk goodness. I recommend watching the movie for fun--and getting some of these great late-70s looks!
Who are you? The good girl? The bad girl? Or the rockin' Ramone? I think I'm a little bit of everything.

I am so the good girl it is scary. It is good girl, aka, gramma librarian, but I am totally OK with that. My chucks are even pink. Sigh.
ReplyDeleteOh, I am totally the good girl too, but I love my black biker jacket, so maybe a little Ramone too?
DeleteLove your way of putting outfits together to this movie. I haven't seen the movie in a few years, and I know a family so obsessed with it that they gave their firstborn daughter "Riff" as a middle name (but they call her "Riffy" more than her first name).

ReplyDeleteMy style is definitely both good/bad gurl, but I love all these looks you put together ! xo
ReplyDeleteThank you, my darling Amrita!
Deletethis is great! i'm a little bit of everything....add the hippie and the prep in the mix too and it's me ;)
ReplyDeleteMe too! I feel like my style is so eclectic...sometimes I wish it wasn't, but I guess it's also fun, to recreate yourself daily! ;)
DeleteSold! I'm adding this to my Netflix queue right now! I love the Ramones!
